Louise & Emmett’s wedding day happened to fall on one of the most exciting days of the social and sporting Calendar of 2018 . . . the 17th March!  When booking a wedding for St. Patrick’s Day, you might think that everyone will be excited about celebrating the shamrock and all things Irish . . . but imagine the excitement level, when you have a wedding booked for St. Patrick’s Day . . . AND . . . the day that Ireland might possibly complete the Grand Slam and win the Rugby 6 nations also!!!  The excitement was off the charts!

The wedding preparations got underway without any stress in the Crothers household.  Faces were painted . . . dressed were buttoned up and everyone was ready to hit the road, well before showtime!  St. Patrick’s day can sometimes be wet . . . and sometimes cold . . . but this St. Patrick’s day was icy cold with hailstorms to prove it.  Louise and her ladies did the most amazing job of braving the elements in their beautiful dresses.  They all skipped into the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Scotshouse with the biggest smiles on their faces and laughing at how insanely cold it was.

Following the wedding ceremony, we zigged zagged over the hills of Monaghan / Fermanagh / Tyrone, to the reception in Corick House Hotel in Clogher.  The rugby match was on the big screen, the drinks were flowing and the fire was roaring.  You couldn’t get better!  Louise & Emmet get on like a house on fire with constant laughing and joking around.  That makes for the best type of wedding photos.  It’s the best job ever when you get to capture photos of a very happy couple, enjoying their day, laughing out loud and cuddling in for warmth.  Thank you both so much for allowing me to come along and capture your beautiful  . . . grand slam winning . . . wedding day.  Come along to see some photo highlights from this very special day x

P.S. Louise looked “traffic stopping” gorgeous in her wedding dress and Emmet scrubbed up very well too 😉  Don’t take my word for it . . . have a look at the photos, they literally stopped traffic in Clones on their wedding day.
