Angela and David’s beautiful wedding was a Monaghan and Longford celebration that was celebrated in Co Cavan. How about that for meeting in the middle! In Crover house, Co Cavan to be exact. This was my first time to photograph a wedding in Crover house and it is gorgeous! The scenery has to be seen to be believed. We even managed to sweet talk a fisherman into lending us his boat for a little bit. Really! It’s like all my wedding desires in one place; rolling hills, a lake, beautiful mature trees, a log cabin and a boat. I was a mighty happy (a happy & mighty tired) lady after photographing Angela and David’s beautiful day.
I have a good feel for how a wedding day is going to be when after an engagement shoot with a couple. For this wedding, I knew that Angela would have every little thing prepared perfectly and elegantly, I knew that David would enjoy his speech and meeting all the guests . . . and I had absolutely no doubt that Angela and David would be a beautiful couple to photograph. I love when I am right 🙂 Angela was just stunning in her gorgeous Pronovias dress. I’m an absolutely sucker for some lace back detail and this dress was to die for. David looked very handsome in his blue suit that he spent months hunting for. I love when a groom gets involved in the styling for the wedding day. Together they were a feast for my camera to photograph. Angela and David clearly think the world of each other, and I have the photos to prove it!
This blog post is long. Very long. I’m sorry I couldn’t help it. How could I cut out the photos of; Mammy Burns giving marriage advice, the flower girl and page boy’s antics, the laughter that was ringing around the pub in Scotstouse, the amazing location shots at the lake and the beautiful photos of Angela and David when they were alone. I think you’ll forgive me, when you see the photos. I’m still smiling as I look through this blog post and I know these photos inside out. I hope you they make you smile! Enjoy x
